Overview

We have an exciting opportunity within a leading manufacturing organisation for a Quality Manager to join their team of engineers.

This is an excellent opportunity for a career minded individual, within a leading organisation.

Candidates should have experience of working to world leading quality standards and metrics, working with internal and external regulatory bodies & monitoring quality performance.

Role Duties

  • Manage a team of quality engineers, supervisors and inspectors
  • ensure that quality metrics are met (KPI’s etc)
  • set up and maintain quality documentation procedures
  • manage suppliers and improvement plans
  • Manage QMS through audits etc
  • ensure quality department participation in design reviews
Essential
Degree in relevant engineering field
OR
5 years working experience in a comparable management role
5 years experience in a Quality engineering team
relevant management training
experience in managing and leading quality teams
understanding New Product introduction (NPI)
Solid understanding of ISO 9001/AS9100
Significant problem solving experience (e.g. 8D)
