Due to continued growth, our client, a multinational defence and security, based in Portsmouth and/or Stevenage, have a requirement for a PMO consultant to work with multifunctional teams throughout the organisation, to ensure that products are delivered to meet costs, quality & schedule.

To fulfil this role MYDAS is searching for an enthusiastic candidate who has completed a degree level qualification in an engineering subject with industrial experience. An engineer joining the team will have a proactive mentality to solving problems whether engineering or communication. Furthermore, this role will insert you into fast-paced manufacturing environments with opportunity to participate in project engineering and design projects, where you will be expected to absorb and understand information quickly, utilising previous experience.

Summary of tasks:

·Co-ordinate multifunctional teams (Design, Industrial Means, Integration and Test and Product Assurance) sited apart, and to communicate effectively with client, peers and subcontractors.

·Deliver Project master scheduling.

·Support to the Risk management activities (ARM user valued)

·Support the organisation of progress meetings and project reviews.

·Maintain Action tracker, the KPI trackers and the reporting mean.

Knowledge and Qualifications required for the role:

·2 years of experience in similar role

·BSc Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace…).

·Expert knowledge in Planisware/ Unified Planning (UP).

·Proactive and Dynamic.

Knowledge and qualifications that would be beneficial to the role:

·3-5 years of experience in similar role, 2 of which in space sector

·PMP and CSIP professional certifications

·Unified Planning (UP) /Planisware Expert Knowledge

12 month contract
